Machine Knitting

I'm branching out to Machine Knitting.  This is exciting!  I purchased an LK 150 (Silver Reed) Knitting Machine and I like it very much.  It actually works using Caron Med. Wt. (4) yarn as well as sports Wt. yarn (baby yarn).  I can actually make 2 baby blankets in one day not counting the finishing stitches that I add around the edges and blocking.

What is challenging for me right now is binding the raw edges, blocking and seaming the edges together.  Here is a good site that shows how to seam edges together:

The Photo below is a finished strip made of squares of different colors.  This will be a little boy's blanket.  The blanket will be made up of three strips sewn together.  I Can't wait to see the final result.
